Teaching Spanish Style Soccer in Central Texas

One World Soccer of Texas, Inc., a non-profit organization DBA Barca Academy Austin, is a unique and exciting youth soccer club for boys and girls aged 4-18 in Pflugerville, Texas. At One World Soccer, under the leadership and design of our founder, Daniel Benito, the principles of Spanish Style Soccer are taught to a diverse population of kids as early as 4 years old. Spanish Style Soccer involves short passing and movement, working the soccer ball through various channels, and maintaining possession. This distinct soccer structure type demands the combination of dynamic individual and collective skill, as well as a healthy trust between every member of the team.

This style of soccer has proven to be successful in World Cups and has been widely used in Spain for years.

One World Soccer of Texas, founded in 2011 as a training organization, is experiencing steady growth and huge success since the program became a member of the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) (One World Soccer became full members of CAYSA in 2014) in order to put teams in area and Statewide leagues. In 2018, One World Soccer of Texas strategically aligned with ISL, FC Barcelona Official US partner. We are currently serving Central Texas area players, many skill leveled teams, and have earned countless medals, trophies and titles.

Many of these players live locally in Pflugerville, Round Rock, Austin and surrounding cities of Austin, as do most of our Board Members and the Founder, Daniel Benito. To serve the diverse number of children participating in the program, our coaches provide bilingual instruction (English and Spanish) at all practices and games. We are proud to have players from different countries in this program!

We originated in Pflugerville continue to serve the community and desire to make our players unique and to provide world class training to Pflugerville, Round Rock, Austin, and surrounding Central Texas Area youth.

I will never discredit the players nor the parents drive and effort; however, One World - Led by Daniel and absorbed into Barca is a terrible organization. The Leaders of OWS and Barca should be ashamed of themselves To the players and their families, you deserve better.

If your child play like a pro then is welcome to this academia española, but if you child is learning how to play will not accepted even if you child fight hard will not be accepted, parents don’t hurt your child feelings and go with someone else like , galaxy, texans, etc, This guys did to my son when my son is about 80% vs they 100% kids levels, I just to be a volunteer couch from Round Rock “recreational soccer division “ and this guys couldn’t beat us maybe that’s why, o they stole me cesar quevedo back then my best player and not even with out him....
